Information for our guests

Check-in:

Your room is available from 3 p.m. on your arrival day.

Check-out:
The regular check-out time is 12 p.m. If you desire a later departure, you can request a later departure for a small fee (subject to availability and occupancy). Please contact the reception desk to arrange a later check-out.

Directions:

Arriving by car: From the A9 to Munich, exit the A9 and follow the signs to Garmisch-Partenkirchen. First on Munich's "middle ring" (B2R), then on the A95. Turn right on the feeder road A952 to Starnberg. Continue straight on after the end of the highway. The hotel is on the right side after approx. 500m.
Arriving by plane: The next international airport is in Munich (MUC) approx. 66km away. The taxi ride takes approx. 45 min; the city train (S-Bahn) takes approx. 90 min. to Starnberg. The closest private airport in Oberpfaffenhofen (UBF) – approx. 15 km away. The taxi or car ride from here takes approx. 20 minutes to the hotel.
Arriving by train: From the main train station in Munich take the city train (S-Bahn) S6 in the direction of Tutzing to the Starnberg-Nord train station. Duration approx. 30 minutes, approx. 5 minutes by foot to the hotel.
Directions from the Starnberg-Nord train station: Turn right from the Leutstettener Strasse at the light into the Gautinger Strasse. Turn left into the Münchner Strasse at the next traffic light and follow the street for approx. 80m to Hotel.

Mobility:

Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten Starnberg has a parking garage available for a fee (EUR 2.00 per started hour, EUR 18.00 per day). There are 92 parking spaces and the height limit is 2m. There are also 15 free outdoor parking spaces available.
You can rent bicycles directly in the hotel. There are parking spaces available for your private bicycle in our parking garage.
Complimentary e-car or e-bike charging at our Certified Green Hotel E-charging-station in the parking garage. There are three charging stations available - one for Tesla, two for other e-cars.
Travel comfortably and easily with the German Bahn's Event Ticket from EUR 49,50,- (one way). The Starnberg-Nord train station with its easy connection to Munich is only 5 minutes away.

Barrier free rooms:

Our hotel has two wheelchair-accessible roooms. All public areas on the ground floor are barrier free.

Allergy sufferers:

We offer one adapted room especially for allergy sufferers. If you require hypo-allergenic bed linens, please contact the reception desk. If you have food intolerances, please inform our service team at least one day before arrival.

Baby bed:

We will be happy to provide you with a baby bed. This service is complimentary for children up to 2 years. Please contact the reception desk. There are limited additional beds available.

Air conditioning:

There is a controller in every room which you can use to set the desired temperature and the intensity of the ventilation. Please note that it can take 20 to 30 minutes before you notice a change in the temperature.

Breakfast:

Enjoy our sumptuous breakfast buffet with live-cooking station from Monday to Friday from 6:30 a.m.-10:00a.m. and on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays from 7:00a.m.-11:00a.m.

Gastronomy:

You have the choice between the Gourmetrestaurant Aubergine, awarded with one Michelin Star, and the classic, down-to-earth dishes at the Restaurants Oliv's and the Hemingway Bar, with its British style and the largest rum collection in southern Germany.

Room Service:

We will be happy to bring selected dishes to your room between 12:00 p.m. - 23:00 p.m. You can find the selection in the Room Service menu in your room. Upon request we can provide you with beverages in your room 24 hours per day. Please contact the reception desk if desired. If you would like to eat breakfat in your room, please use the form in the guest folder or contact the reception desk at the telephone number 171.

Internet / W-LAN:

You can connect to the internet with wireless LAN in the entire house. Connect to the network HVJS, open your internet browser and accept the user conditions. You can borrow a LAN cable for EUR 25 at the reception desk. Furthermore, a computer with internet access and a complimentary connected printer is available on the ground floor next to reception desk. Complimentary WiFi highspeed internet is available in the entire hotel.

Spa area:

The small but well-equipped fitness and spa area on the fifth floor offers you a Finnish sauna, a bio sauna and four cardio machines. Find moments of relaxation here and enjoy the panorama terrace with the comfortable sun chairs and the magnificent view of Starnberg. The wellness and spa area is open from Monday to Friday from 4:00 p.m.-10 p.m. and on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays from 11:00 a.m. to 10 p.m. You can use your key card for admission to the fitness and spa area.

Complimentary use of the fitness and spa area for hotel guests. Please note that children over 14 years of age may enter the wellness area accompanied by an adult.
