Precautionary measures regarding Coronavirus
Dear guest,
your safety and wellbeing is our top priority - therefore we have developed a hygiene concept that respects and includes all guidelines and regulations of the government, the local authorities and the WHO. You can find our top 10 measures below and you can access detailed information on all aspects of your stay in the following bullet points.
- Should you have had contact to CoVid-19 patients during the last 14 days or suffer from non-specific symptoms and respiratory symptoms, you will not be allowed to visit the hotel.
- We recommend our guests to wear a medical mask in all public areas. If you don't have your own mask with you, you may buy one at the reception desk for EUR 4,00. All proceeds will be donated to the Tabaluga-Stiftung.
- Disposable gloves will be available free of charge to you at the reception desk.
- Make use of our hand disinfectant dispensers on a regular basis. You can find them in our parking garage, in the hotel lobby, in front of our conference rooms, in all public bathrooms and in front of the Restaurant Oliv’s.
- Please only use the elevator with a maximum of two people and respect the minimum distance of 1,5 metres to members of staff as well as the other guests at all times.
- To avoid unneccessary physical contact points, please pay for your hotel bill via debit card. There is also the possibility to receive the final hotel bill via e-mail after your departure.
- Housekeeping has been adapted according to current regulations. If you do not wish to have your room cleaned, please hang the red card on your room door. Our housekeeper will then contact you and discuss your individual wishes.
- The reception desk will be available to you 24/7 via WhatsApp number 0049 174 / 3202045 during your stay for questions and requests.
- Please book a table in advance for your visit to the Gourmetrestaurant Aubergine (extension 290) or to the Restaurant Oliv's (extension 293). Due to government regulation a table cannot be guaranteed for a spontaneous visit.
- Furthermore, please keep in mind the recommendations of the Bundeszentrale für gesundheitliche Aufklärung:
- Sneeze or cough in the bend of your arm or a handkerchief
- Keep your hands away from your face
- Keep your distance from people who show symptoms like coughing, sneezing or a fever
- Avoid physical contact
- Wash your hands regularly with water and soap for at least 20 seconds
Before your stay
- We would like to recommend you perform a lateral flow test prior to your arrival to ensure your own safety as well as others.

Arrival/Departure
- In order to offer you the best possible travel protection, you can cancel all flexible rates for the year 2021 free of charge until 6 p.m. on the day of arrival. For all non-flexible rates in 2021, you will receive a voucher valid for one year as an alternative to the stay. Alternatively, you can of course book the Travel Cancellation Insurance by ERGO at any time before the start of your trip. You can find more information here.
- Avoid public transport and carpools for your own safety.
Reception/Hotel lobby
- During your check-in and check-out, the protective measures enable you to keep the minimum distance to staff members and other hotel guests.
- FFP2-masks are available at the reception for EUR 4,00 per piece. The profit will be donated to Tabaluga Kinderstiftung.
- Disposable gloves are available free of charge at the reception desk.
- All items that the front office staff hand out or receive are disinfected regularly and after each use. If possible, handing out items will happen contact-less.
- The reception can be reached 24/7 during your stay contactlessly via WhatsApp on +49 (0) 174 / 3202 045 to answer all questions and requests.
- To avoid unnecessary contact, we recommend to pay your hotel bill cashless. It is also possible to receive the final hotel bill by e-mail after departure.
- Please understand that we do not offer luggage service proactively at the moment. Should you wish to use this ervice, our staff will of course be wearing gloves. Luggage carts are also cleaned on a regular basis.
- You can take advantage of our Share Magazines offer, which gives you free digital access to over 500 daily newspapers and magazines via your smartphone or tablet.
- Our board games (chess, checkers, backgammon) have been removed from the hotel lobby. Our staff will gladly hand out a disinfected and cleaned game to you.
- During your stay, you are welcome to use the furniture in the hotel lobby to relax. We have taken the necessary distances into account when furnishing the room.
- All public areas are aired out, professionally cleaned and disinfected several times a day.

- Housekeeping was adjusted according to the necessary hygiene standards and regulations. The detailed cleaning process can be accessed at the reception desk.
- You do not wish to have your room cleaned? Please hang the red card on your room door - our housekeeper will approach you and discuss your individual wishes.
- Please take advantage of our Share Magazines offer, which gives you free digital access to over 500 daily newspapers and magazines via your smartphone or tablet.
- Our staff will enter your hotel room for cleaning and repairing purposes only during your absence to keep the minimum distance.

- Please wait in front of Restaurant Oliv’s, a member of staff will gladly show you to your table.

- We would advise guests visiting the outside areas to book their table in advance to guarantee being seated right away.
- All table utensils are being cleaned at 60 degrees minimum.
- Breakfast is offered as a self-service buffet. Furthermore, distance markers and spit protection are installed in the buffet room.
- You are welcome to order your food in advance either to go or as roomservice.
- All seats in the restaurant are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected before and after your visit.
Conference facilities
- In front of the conference facilities, a hand disinfect dispenser and a pamphlet displaying the current hygienic standards have been installed.
- We recommend you wear your mask as soon as you leave your seat.
- Every conference member gets their own water bottle.
- During your coffee and lunch breaks, the room will be thoroughly cleaned and aired out.
- All provisioned utensils are being thoroughly cleaned and disinfected before and after usage.
- Desks and surfaces are being cleaned once a day with disinfectants.
Fitness- and Wellness area
- A basic cleaning is carried out daily.
- Please note that children from the age of 14 may use the wellness area accompanied by an adult.
- Towels and bathrobes are available in the wellness area.
- The consumption of food and the ordering of food and drinks is not permitted - water may of course be brought in or taken out in the wellness area.
Hotel and staff
- A hygiene concept for the entire hotel and staff has been developed, communicated and trained.
- Elaborated cleaning plans have been implemented for offices and working spaces as well as for the staff area.
